Conférence ADIRA

Conference series: Decoding in order to anticipate the world "afterwards"

Conference co-organised by EM Strasbourg, Marque Alsace, ADIRA and the Knowledge Management and Foresight Chair.

Theme of the conference

The need to look far and wide in times of crisis. Is industry at risk of being uberized by 2030?
Results of a foresight study conducted by the Observatory of Futures.

Questions raised

What are the possible developments over 10 years in the industrial sector in the face of the rapid development of new technologies (big data, AI, IoT, blockchain, etc.)? Do these developments expose manufacturers to a risk of uberization (disruption by fully digital players) or do they, on the contrary, constitute new opportunities (industry 4.0)?

Presentation of the results

In order to answer these questions, we present the results of a foresight study conducted as part of the Observatory of Futures (EM Strasbourg), which brought together 12 practitioners and 9 teaching researchers. The presentation will also highlight the need for this type of foresight questioning in a post-Covid context.
